I’m a little confused with the info in the wiki and unfortunately don’t have a device on-hand to test various configurations with.
I’m trying to extend the range of an existing wireless AP/Router. Based on the information I’ve read I should be able to accomplish this by using the device in ap-bridge mode along with wds?
I’m also prepared to replace the existing router with a mikrotik device if needed for compatibility purposes.
Could anyone confirm this and/or perhaps offer some advice?
I know the best way to do this is to use 2 devices with 2 radios in each but I’m trying to avoid that avenue at the moment due to it’s cost.
