I am finally using my rb751g-2hnd and I noticed that my wired speed is really bad. The rb751g-2hnd is serving a room and it connected to the Internet to another router. I connected the wire from the other router to my laptop and a speed test returned results of around 100Mbs/11mbps but when I connect that cable to port 1 of the rb751g-2hnd and connect the same laptop to a port on the rb751g-2hnd I can not get anything more then 20mbs/10mbps from the same speed test. When I connect a laptop to the wireless AP on the rb751g-2hnd I get 32mbs/11mbps. So my wireless connection to the router is faster than my wired gigabit connection. Even stranger, I’ve even managed to get to more than 50mbps down via wireles at a time.
Could someone point me to what the issue might be?
Also the PSK (64 characters) that is generated by WPA supplicant which I easily inserted into the other routers configuration doesn’t seem to work (clients can’t connect) as it does on the other router.
