I tried to consult the wiki and the mighy google but still haven’t figured the best way to connect my three RB751G-2HnD devices. Each one is updated to 5.14 and has the latest firmware (2.38). I have a 50 Mb/s link which will go in the first one. I need to cover the most of a big conference room and I want to have a transparent connection between the devices, with the clients only seeing one SSID for my network.
I already tried to follow that tutorial but it has conflicting info. For example, on the fourth picture of winbox it says ether5 is the main port for mesh interface, but in the command below wlan1 is specified, could someone explain how to create a working mesh interface?
You should ad wlan1 as mesh port, the wds links will be their when it is connected.
It doesn’t allow me to do that, when i try to add wlan1 as the main port of the mesh interface it says that wlan1 is already used as a port in the bridge interface.
