RB751U-2HnD 250Mhz or 400Mhz?

Hi all!
In summer 2011 i purchase RB751U-2HnD, on this description on routerboard site says:

CPU speed 400MHz

But on my RB751U-2HnD in Resources in winbox says:

CPU speed 250MHz

It`s mistake on site routerboard? Or my RB751U-2HnD - cut version? :slight_smile:
I purchase also RB750G ( for NAT, and RB751 will work only WiFi), he 680Mhz, how is promised :slight_smile:

Check documentation:http://routerboard.com/RB751U-2HnD
and you will see that it is 400Mhz
just change it back and reboot the router.

In winbox windows Resources not allowed to change speed
Or something I do not understand?

CPU frequency can be changed in System Routerboard Settings.
Or you can use these commands in terminal:

/system routerboard settings set cpu-frequency=400Mhz
/system reboot

what the problem may come out when we overclock?
like RB800 default is 800Mhz and we overclock it to 1000Mhz same as the RB4xx AH series.

Overclock is optional feature - there might be some boards that work fine, and other boards that will not work. If you are lucky then you can use 800Mhz on RB4xxAH without any problems, but if it doesn’t work you can’t complain :slight_smile:
