RB751U-2HnD ether port down while (Reset) and not have Serial Port

Hi guys
my router board (RB751U-2HnD) is ether port down while (resetting) plug off and there is no serial port to communicate to remote device and I decided by adding serial port as it mentioned in the board (RX-TX) to DB9-USB 2.0 but I failed :frowning: so I ask how I communicate to my routerboard by serial port ? and is there another way to remote device ?

As far as I can see you couldn’t communicate with the board on serial because you didn’t have a ground wire.In order to communnicate succesfully on serial you need at least RX TX and GND.Another thing might be that near RX,TX AND GND you have pin with 3V which means that your serial port on board is on 3V so you might need a level shifter because your computer RS232 is on 12V
