One of my customers has an RB800 and wanted to add the RB816 daughter card, so we ordered it and got it installed.
The problem is that the RB800 doesn’t see any of the new interfaces.
We have:
Wiped the config
Loaded ROS 4.13 on it
Loaded ROS 5.0rc1 on it
Updated the firmware to 2.27
So we sent the board back to our distributor, they tested it and said it worked fine.
What can we try next?
I read in another thread that some of the RB800’s had a temperature problem, and one of the methods of fixing this was to remove a resistor from U15, this would disable the daughter board part. The client is in another state and I have not visually inspected the RB800, but other that that can you guys think of anything else?
