RB800 Autonegotiation over POE

Good Day,

I have an issue with RB800 and POE with Auto Neg issues.

Problem
When running on POE and Connecting a 10/100 device It will connect on
100 for 2 sec and drop and come back as 10 half duplex and stays
there.
When connecting a 1000 device it doesn’t even try to connect.

But when running on AC all works 100%

Have anybody seen a similar problem before.

I sent the same message to Mikrotik support with the following reply

Hello,

You should try powering RB800 through higher voltage power supply when using PoE.
And also make sure that PoE injector has Gigabit support and has all 4 pair wiring.

And herewith my reply on the mail i received.

Any advice would be awesome.

Hello

Thank you for the Reply.

If you say higher voltage POE what would you recommend?
Lets stick with a 10/100 connection first.
I have used the following
48v active POE 10/100 it connects to 100 for 2 sec and drop and come back as 10. This is from my DSL modem that is only 10/100.
Also used a 56v active POE exactly the same result. Also tried new cat5e and cat6 cables.

Bought a 1GB mikrotik POE with 48v 1.46amp PSU on a 10/100 device it will connect at 100 for 2 sec drop and come back at 10.

Connect to a 1G connection it does not even try to connect.

Without POE on AC all works fine.

Could the Ethernet port be faulty then or something else? Or something else I could try?
