I have the following problem on a ether with no cable connected
ROS version 4.8
If i dissable and enable the interface it begins doing it again after a few seconds.
Any Ideas as to what could be the problem ?

Why you rename ethernet interfaces? Do you have link LEDs on when no cable connected? It’s remind ethernet swich port damage by lightning :))
Receive traffic at a rate of 220 Mbps without reason.
I’ve seen this on another RB800 with RouterOS 4.5.
Yep exactly whats happening, no cable connected to the ethernet port, yet there is traffic runinng for
no reason
Do you have the same information after upgrading router to MikroTik RouterOS to 4.10? and by upgrading firmware by,
/system routerboard upgrade
/system reboot
Will give it a try end report back
we have fixed this problem, fix will be in next RouterOS releases.
I also have problems like that but with RB1100,
no cable plug - RX 220.1 Mb. autonegotiation failed.
and when I plug the cable from other modem/router/switch to RB1100 port 11, 12 or 13, router always stuck / every 5-10 minutes interface/ether always disconnect/down.
but port 1-10 is normal!.. is that bug or something??

Please release this fixed version soon. We have many customers putting these into production routing most of their traffic.
