RB911G-5HPacD Factory Reset

Hello guys, I got a rather simple question that hopefully should be easy to fix. But it sure as hell wasn’t for me.

I’ve seen the guides/browsed the nett for more than an hour now, and I’ve seen these guides:

http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Reset
http://i.mt.lv/routerboard/files/rb912G-5HPnD-qg_1377088811.pdf

But there is nothing that looks anything like the reset buttons/circles that are mentioned there. Here is a picture of the board:

(Am aware of the “reset” button on the lower left corner, but that only activates the “Netinstall” function.

So, Am I being stupid here or is this board actually missing a reset function (probably the first part).

Are you sure you did that? Reset button has dual function.

Using: unplug the device power, hold the button, apply power and wait until the USER LED starts flashing. Now release the button to clear configuration.

Note: If you wait until LED stops flashing, and only then release the button - this will instead launch Netinstall mode, to reinstall RouterOS.

Aha, I didnt release the button until after the LED stopped flashing. I will try it tomorrow (dont have the equipment with me atm). But then again, where is the info around this? If I hadn’t gone here for answers, where could I have gone? There weren’t any manuals on the equipment I bought, and the manuals that I posted above didnt say anything about that.

Anyways, thanks for the help.

I copied from the first link you posted…all you need to do is read it.

Alright, having my intelligence insulted here. I can see in the first link that its stated. But I found a more accurate manual:

http://i.mt.lv/routerboard/files/rb9xx-ac-qg.pdf

This one explains how you do it With all the 900 series ones. Perfect, a precise manual for the exact series I have !
Now, do tell where that is stated in that document.

I will give you a massive hint: Its not.
All it says is that you should short-circuit a point on the board (which is not even there).
