Hi all,
I know there have been loads of posts about configuring the MC7710.
I have a new RB912 board running 6.12 with the MC7710 on the latest firmware from the Sierra dev site and in DIP mode.
The unit powers up, and has automatically added a PPP-Client and LTE interface which I have configured with our APN settings and added the DHCP client for the LTE connection.
The issue is the LTE connection looks to be up, it has an IP address from DHCP and I can ping our internal servers. However I cannot for the life of me get the PPP connection up. This unit is going to be installed in a vehicle and so needs to be able to connect to all 2G / 3G / 4G networks.
When I look in the RouterBoard resources page it seems there are no ports available on the device and so in the PPP window every time I try to add the ports suggested in other forum posts such as 3,4 0,1 etc etc the system just says that these are not available.
Also when I use the scan feature in the LTE interface I am able to see the available cellular networks, however when I try and do this in the PPP window I get an error message.
HELP HELP HELP!
Any light anyone could throw on this would be very much appreciated ![]()
Thanks!
J
