RB912 with Simcom 7100e modem

Hello,

It’s currently working over ppp however I need to change the LTE band it’s sitting on. The wiki states I’ll get the LTE interface in ROSv7 but I can’t wait that long.

Is there a command I can send to switch the modem’s band? Or can i perhaps load a custom driver to allow it to use the LTE interface instead of ppp ?

Basically I want to switch the modem to use LTE-FDD Band 40. (2300mhz) Right now it’s on 1800mhz.
Band 40 has the highest speeds hence the need to change it.

As per my understanding ppp is limited to 25Mbps due to usb interface :frowning:

Oh well, I guess I have to wait for QMI support/LTE support in ROS v7.
