RB912UAG-2HPnD- How to make use of the SIM for internet

Hello guys,
I bought this RB912UAG-2HPnD so that I can make use of the SIM card to access the wireless simcard operators internet, because the area, i want to use it has low or limited connectivity.

I want to use the SIMcard as my main connection while both the Lan and wlan will be used for hotspot for any connected computer, but I cant make it to work. I dont want to make use of the USB Modem or stick rather the In-built Sim.

Can anyone help me or assist me to get this to work or done, since it is going to be placed outside or outdoor.

You didn’t said anything about the modem…to few details anyway.
You will get no help for just “I want to use the SIMcard as my main connection”
Also I believe you know that the phone is also an radio modem and your sim can’t connect to the mobile antennas whithout an modem.

Thanks Inox, in that case, the simcard alone will not work when inserted in the sim slot. I thought the simcard will be detected at least in the winbox by mikrotik RB.

Can i get any other suggestions on how to make use of this device, because I just want to use the device outside to improve the signal strenght of the network.

you can choose any of thease miniPCIe cards http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Supported_Hardware#3G_cards_and_modems

it should work with your simcard and that board.
