RB912UAG-2HPnD-OUT: Setup and configuration with intergrated mini pci-e sim

Hello All,
I have been trying to see if someone can help me configure or setup this device to use internal SIM.

I want to make use of the internal sim in the mini pci-e so that it can connect with the GSM provider in my area, so that instead of using the attaching my USB dongle on the usb slot, I can make use of the internal sim.

Your help and suggestions will be appreciated.

To use the internal SIM you have to add a mini-PCIe modem to the mini PCIe slot. (This disables USB)

I had done such but cant see the interface or the SIM interface in the router board. Is there any other way to enable the mini-PCIe card to be detected in the routerboard.

Does modem appear in System > Resources > PCI? Did you use a compatible modem?

Be sure to go into System->Routerboard, select USB and change the setting from USB typeA to Mini PCIe

have made the changes as instructed but did not see how to make the sim card work or the interface for the sim configuration appears anywhere.

A ppp or LTE interface should have appeared, what modem brand/model are you using?

Nothing like ppp or LTE appeared on the interface.

The modem brand is Atheros communication, version1. see attached picture. Thanks

That is not a cellular GSM card. It is a 2.4/5ghz wifi card used for connecting to hotspots. I doubt there are any drivers in routerOS for this type of card.
