Hello, We recently set up a UBTik p2p link using nv2. The link is good and is working well for us but we are encountering an issue. On the back side of our link the UBtik is using a RB912UAG-5HPnD connected to a MT x86(which is our gateway to the internet). The problem we are having is that the LAN connection hangs between the two routers hangs up after a while. We have a watchdog program set to reboot the RB912 after it hangs up. Once the RB912 reboots the LAN reestablishes the connection. Does anyone know what would be causing this?
It turns out it was a bad board. We are getting it replaced
I’ve encountered multiple bad 912 boards. They aren’t bad in the sense that something is wrong with these specific boards, they are bad in the sense that they are just bad design. All 912 boards have come off our network and now we are enjoying 100% ccq’s again and no ethernet problems anymore. Every single one has had problems - from 5.26 thru 6.9. I think there is something wrong with the clock chip in the 912s.
