RB922UAGS-5HPacD bridged disabled cannot login

I accidentally disabled the bridge on the routerboard which means I can no longer access it by SSH or web. Is there anyway of resetting the config? I’ve tried connecting via Netinstall with no luck.

Have I just bricked it?

You need to be connected either to the network leg that connects to it via ethernet, or from the other wireless device connected to it (wireless leg).

If so, you should be able to connect to it in L2 by using mac-winbox if you’re phisically there (look at Neighbors tab in Winbox, then double click on the device MAC address) or by logging remotely to another router at either network legs, (look at IP > Neighbors on device) then using mac-telnet from it to connect to the 922.

Did it have RoMON enabled?

I didn’t use Winbox, just the web interface and ssh. I have no idea what the routerboad’s IP address is anymore. The default 192.168.88.1 stopped working after I disabled the bridge interface. So struggling to get into the routerboard by other methods.

I also followed the securing your router guide so I have disable services like mac winbox

Then just reset it to defaults using the reset button…

I’ve just tried pushing that reset button on start up with no luck. Is there a method of when to push it?

You need to read the documentation!
