RB931-2nD - use ROS v6 or v7?

Low cost device with limited resources - is it better to keep v6, or is it reasonably well supported by v7 as well?
Typical use is a home router with dual-stack IPv4+IPv6 PPPoE client (I’m running a small local ISP) and DHCP server for customer’s LAN (including IPv6 PD).
My main concerns: CPU performance (will more features in v7 make it significantly slower?), small RAM and flash size (will v7 upgrades fail at some point in the future, when they no longer fit?), stability (v6 is mature, v7 still changes a lot). On the other hand, v6 may stop receiving security fixes at some point in the future, and IPv6 support may be incomplete/buggy and only see fixes in v7 (as in ROS v6 it’s an optional package, not enabled by default, so probably not as much tested).

Lot’s of assumptions…why don’t you give V7 a try? Don’t expect too much performance though…

As an ISP I would use LTS, unless there is a usecase not to.
