RB941-2nd just stop working

Hello guys,

I have a RB941-2nD running a hotspot on the Ether2, getting internet from the Wlan1.

It is all working perfect, but after 12 or more hours, it just stop working

I am force to turn the power on and of, and I get notthing on the logs, aside the “router was rebooted without proper shutdown”

Any ideas?

Hi all

I have problem after upgrading my RB951Ui-2nD to New version (6.40). It beeps every 6 seconds. It doesn’t get picked up in Netinstall. Also, Windows cannot keep a LAN connection to the RB, it keeps on Identifying and then cable unplugged (loop). This occurs on all ports. Is there any solution to get my RB working again. I have done a reset as well with nothing.

Any advise will be appreciated.

The first thing I would do in such situation would be to watch the memory use. Connection tracking in firewall uses a lot of memory, and 941 is not a top model so the amount of RAM is price-optimized. You can use graphs to monitor system resources including RAM and disk usage; if you configure the graphs to be saved on disk every 5 minutes, you can see whether and how fast the memory occupation was growing during those 12 hours.
