I have a RB951G-2HnD deployed and two users who are using Ipads (Gen 3 & 4) are losing connectivity regularly and I am seeing gratuitous 802.11 Disassoc (8) log messages. Any other devices on the wireless are not having issues. I will post back with the configuration and other details, as I am remote and cannot gather that information remotely.
Offhand, does anyone know of anything I may have mis-configured etc. that would cause that issue?

Check Wireless > Advanced tab that Preamble Mode is set to “Both”
try slightly increase retry count, enable ANI and try DFS.
I have a guess to add to the list: the wireless client goes to sleep, then the group gets changed (GTK rekey) and when the client wakes up, it sends frames to the AP which are not encrypted correctly. The AP rejects them with a Disassociate frame. Are you using WPA/WPA2? (If not, then this is obviously not a possible cause…)
Can you get a wireless capture during one of these events? Monitor + promisc mode would be required.
