Is there some specific additional setup required for the RB951G-2NhD & RB750GL? I have x86 5.20 in production and they resolve DNS fine but I cannot get these RB’s to resolve. I can ping a public IP and have confirmed my DNS addresses with my ISP, I also tried OpenDNS but no go.
Am I missing something simple?
Well I didn’t expect my thread to take so long to be approved so I gave it another try and still couldn’t ping DNS from the board but continued with the setup anyway. Clients are able to resolve and browse fine, the board still can’t ping DNS though. Not a train smash but problematic for future possible troubleshooting.
I put it into production yesterday and DNS now resolves on the board and I didn’t change anything, any-case it’s up and running. I have config queries for which I’ll create a new thread.
