I have a RB951 and a USB Modem Hauwei K5150.
When I put the modem, the ROS does not create a new interface, and if I create a PPP interface does not recognize any port.
Currently I use ROS v6.19.
In system resources appears a usb device 1:2 Vodafone HUAWEI K5150, but the serial number is FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.
Any idea?!

Any light on this? I Have the same k5150 vodafone modem and the new Hap ac ( my first RB ) and the same problem
Interface does not show up on the interface list
Do i have to configure dhcp client first?

It appears that 4G K5150 will only be supported in v7

That thread is from 2014, what’s the situation? Does anyone know what is different with the K5150? It’s an extremely cheap and available device… Would be great to support it asap.
