RB951Ui-2HND + LTE via USB > MPCIE Adapter?

Hello,

I need a device with WAN + 3x LAN and also LTE functionality.

I have therefore purchased a RouterBOARD RB951Ui-2HND which is fine, however I need to add the LTE functionality.

My problem is a lack of suitable LTE cards. I would like to be able to use the Sierra Wireless AirPrime MC7710, however this is a mPCIe.

Therefore I would like to use this card in conjunction with a Mini PCI-E Wireless to USB Adapter Card, for clarification this:

Before I go ahead and order this combination does anyone see any compatibility issues or can suggest alternative hardware given the number of LAN/WAN and mPCIe or USB requirement?

I would like to thank you in advance for any assistance you might be able to offer.

Jeff

that convert should work as expected

Hi,

I’m from Brazil and bought a RB951Ui-2HnD to make a 3G/4G hotspot. The Vivo carrier has a good LTE network, than I bought a Huawei E3272s-506(Device ID = 0x1506)(unlocked). When I connect E3272 on TP-Link MR3020(Portable 3G/4G Wireless Router) it gave me 50 Mbps(downstrem), but when connect it to RB, no LTE interface appears and top downstream was 5Mbps. In another thread I saw “only modem with device-id=“0x14db” works as LTE interface”. Someone can help me with questions:
1 - Why only works with device-id=”0x14db”? What diferences between my modem and device-id=”0x14db”? Firmware update can fix it?( http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/huawei-e3272s-153-lte-solution/81122/1)
2 – My modem have a label under its cover with E3272s-506(0x1506), which label has E3272 compatible?

I will appreciate any help! Thank you!

Sorry, my modem is Huawei E3272s-506 LTE USB Stick, I don´t need a MPCIE Adapter. Which one works fine and will create a LTE interface after plugged? Huawei E3272s-153?( http://www.ebay.com/itm/151195059496?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)
