check the modems firmware as maybe it is configured/switched to regular modem mode and not network interface mode.
I sent to modem command AT^SETPORT="A1;10,12,13,14″ - this command enable all com-ports and disable NDIS+CD+SD - Only modem mode. Helps nothing.
Also sent command: AT^SETPORT="A1;10,12,13,14,16″ - this command enable all COM-ports and disable CD+SD, also nothing.
At first firmware update: E3272s-153 21.436.11.00.00 Universal - not see LTE interface
Then Firmware update: E3272s-153 21.470.05.00.00 - also not see LTE interface
in order to see the lte interface you need the ndis mode.
I think there are multiple versions of this modem and maybe you need the hi-link version of this modem. Maybe some customer that is using such modem with ethernet lte mode could post some details what firmware and exact model number they use.

There are multiple versions of this modem. Looks like only modem with device-id=“0x14db” works as LTE interface.
You can try to use the ppp-client with your modem.
