Hello,
I have a routerboard RB951Ui-2nD that I am trying to use with a Verizon LTE USB730L modem in the USA. The modem is active on my billing account, and when plugged into a windows 10 computer it allows me to browse the internet using the Verizon data network.
This page suggest that the modem is supported: https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Peripherals
Starting with RouterOS 6.41RC6 and later.
I would like to make this hAP a wireless access point that uses the USB modem to access the internet for my local devices connected via wifi.
I plug the modem into the USB port, and it is detected (System | Resources | USB) displays the correct modem on port 1. (see screenshot)

However, no “lte1” port appears in the interface list. It appears that I cannot add this, and all of the forum posts I have found suggest the interface will be “added” once the modem is plugged in. I do also see a ppp-out1 interface, and other posts indicate I can enter the appropriate APN in that interface, however I am not able to get a connection (just repeated logging that says modem hung up).
I wasn’t sure if I had to add the “extra package” called LTE, so I tried with and without this package using RouterOS 6.42.1 and I get the same results. (see list of packages)

Please if someone knows how to configure this combination of RouterBoard and LTE modem I would very much appreciate knowing the steps to follow to enable internet access through the device.
I am comfortable configuring RouterOS and have set several up before, but never with a cellular modem. Thank you
