I have a hAP ac lite i’ve been doing alot of testing and fiddling with but i made a change that completely made this device in accessible locally or externally lol.
I’ve followed many guides on how to reset using the reset button and also using netinstall HOWEVER the hap usr lights blinks then goes away and the device boots. netinstall never sees the device and it appears it also didn’t wipe the config because i can’t get any 192.168.88.xxx via DHCP on any ports after many resets. I also tried setting static 192.168.88.10 but i get connection reset so something is NOT resetting to factory.
I’m guessing this is a hardware thing, does anyone know of other ways to force the device to reset? I’m willing to take it apart but i dont see screws or anything.
While the device is powered off press the reset button, without releasing it power on the device, when the usr led starts to flash release the reset button immediately…
my rb962 hap ac is now doing the same thing. all reset trys dont reset the rb. a net install by the book gets to the rb but aborts about 5 seconds after I hit the install button on the net install page. Is by RB bricked?
