Hello all, just wondering if its possible to only use 2 of the 3 x antenna connectors on the RB953GS-5HnT-RP (https://mikrotik.com/product/RB953GS-5HnT-RP) without damaging the radio? e.g. will load applied to 2 of the antenna connectors be OK?
Or… can we disable one of the wireless chains to effectively disable one antenna? If true the secondary question becomes how do we map chain to any particular antenna connector?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

yes, you can disable the chains in wireless configuration.
Also you can choose different combination for receiving and transmitting.
Not 100% sure about connector numbering, but you can easily test that: select only one chain and then run Snooper on the interface - it only listens, not transmits, so you can swap antennas while it’s running to find the correct one that belongs to currently selected chain. But I think they are numbered 1-2-3 from left or the right of the PCB.
