RB953GS-5HnT-RP manufacturing defect

I just received a RB953GS-5HnT-RP ordered on Amazon. Still in the static wrapper, I see this:

The dual LED was soldered in at an angle instead of flush with the board and the SFP cage is smashed in and pretty much beyond repair.
I thought I had a good weekend project to replace my old TP-Link Archer 7 router with an ARM based board that supports OSPF, LLDP, and some other features I need.

Has anyone else had problems with this series? Now I’m pretty nervous about making this thing the most important device in our house. 4 peeps confined to self isolation and I’m not sure the boards are being built to spec and will last.

This routerboard is not arm based and this is more like a problem from shocks during transport ! Show the original packaging of the product?

Yep, sorry about the ARM thing. I was thinking about the hAP ac2 I have on order but can’t get in the US.

Amazon did not pack this correctly. That much is true. So I’m glad they just processed the item exchange. Will see if they do better on Tueday.

While it is possible this was dropped or crunched in shipping, I don’t see scuff, or scratch marks, chipped PCB, etc to indicate more gross damage.

None of the solder joints are detached, missing.

Almost impossible to photo the leads but they don’t look torqued either.
