RB95X Board Bricked

Hi dear,
i have a problem to netinstall routeros with same computer and settings i tryed to netinstall a hAP ac lite
Confiugured PC
Reset Button pressed -

Starting the RouterBOARD in Netinstall mode
Or Keep holding the button for 5 more seconds until LED turns off, then release it to make the RouterBOARD look for Netinstall servers. You can also simply keep the button pressed until the device shows up in the Netinstall program on Windows (total 15 seconds)

Nothing on this device. I tryed the same step on second device RB750 GL and it works.
Probabily in this device (hap ac lite) was the routerboot protected enabled (and i tryed also to keep reset 90 seconds) but nothing detected on NetInstall.

NOW i can’t use this device

  • Normal PWR on
Just connecting Power and eth cable in every port the PC do not detect any cable connected - PWR LED is ON e USR led is blinking all the time.
  • Netinstall Mode
If i will try to put in netinstall mode
Connecting PWR with reset button pressed the pc detect a link but nothing on netinstall - PWR LED is ON and USR led is ON all the time

Any suggestions?

You dont mention the version of netinstall you used.

However, i ve netinstalled a couple of routers over time and from my experience i would tell you to try 2-3 different versions of netinstall and see if any of them works…

Also do not release the reset button even if the usr goes off, keep pressing for a couple more seconds…

Disable the firewall on your computer and any other network adapter, antivirus etc…

If you still can not netinstall then your device has a hardware problem…
