I have a RouterBoard RB962UiGS-5HacT2HnT hAP ac and I have wireless capacity problem.
I have WAN 100 Mbit/s and MacBook Pro 13 2017.
All is 5GHz connection and in registration I see 866 mbps… but I have only 70 Mbit/s WAN speed MAX.
What can be a problem?
Channel width I have 20/40/80 MHz Ceee but in wireless settings I see Channel 5180/20-Ceee/ac/P.
Please help me fix this problem.
I have current version RouterOS.
Wired connection has 100 Mbit/s no problem.
I have empty freq 5GHz about my home - 0 walls and router 2 meters to my MacBook Pro 13 2017.
I’m only active client.
Ok but I can do about 5 pm.
I have default configuration wifi 20/40/80 MHz Ceee.
I don’t know why is this problem.
This model Mikrotik will be no problem 200-300 Mbit/s 5GHz yes?
2 meters to router.
If you did the test between your computer and a WAN site you are limited by the 100 Mbps WAN connection.
Make a test between the computer connected to the wireless and another cable connected to 1GB in the LAN.
So where Can I have problem?
I have 100 Mbit/s WAN and wired connection no problem… and 5GHz a/c 70 Mbit/s only… I see “registration” in MT 500-866 Mbit/s.
Maybe must I set any in MT configuration?
I’m connect to router 5GHz ac wifi and i get a file my ISP speedtest and dslreports too.
Wired I have 100 Mbit/s no problem but wifi is max about 70Mbit/s.
This is not a reliable way to test anything, but in any case, make a screenshot of the connection information in wireless “registration table” when you do this speedtest. So we can see the signal and noise data.
