I have RB962UiGS-5HacT2HnT the biggest problem with this device is lack of space for basic configurations. I bought this device with a thought about using ipv6, vpn gateways, securing wi-fi connections. After all these adventures with this device, I am already spreading my hands and I have.
I have removed all the packages that I found to be rational.
Currently, I only have:

I have not configured VPN connections, even wifi is now able to connect only after WPA2 because the user-manager does not load the database because there is not enough memory. The only thing I added to the configuration is about 4,000 entries in DNS and 30,000 entries in the firewall and at the end … I do not know who this device is for sure but not for me .. And after what I experience with it, I say that for anyone because I use basic functions like AP simple firwall, it provides a simple router for 1/5 cents of this toy. pre-ask the question about resources:

Maybe you have any suggestions maybe you can put the system on pendive? with 2GB of capacity where there will be no more files to save the scripts to perform a backup configuration, etc .. Your issue is the user manager, it’s a sizeable package and it eats up your free disk space. Host it on another platform if you wish to use it. Your RB962 is not meant for that with only 16mb of storage.

If you really want 4000 dns entries and 30.000 firewall rules, you should reconsider your choice for the RB962, which is not intended as enterprise gateway, it is a home access-point …
