RBGPOE and short circuit

Dears,

What will happen to RBGPOE if I damage a cable and short-circuit PoE wires?
The injector is fed by a 24V PSU that came bundled with RB260GSP.

Will it be intelligent as a RouterBOARD and turn the power off?
Or it has a one-time fuse?
Or it will just pass the short to PSU?
What will happen to PSU then?
Will my cable catch fire?

I think that it’s the PSU’s job to handle a short circuit.

Most switching PSU’s nowadays have all sorts of protections, so I wouldn’t worry that much. Especially about a cable fire :stuck_out_tongue:
