RBGPOE as ejector

Dears,
can I use RBGPOE (https://routerboard.com/RBGPOE) both as injector and ejector for powering the device that does not accept POE?

I need to get gigabit speed while powering the device over the same wire, but I do not have any suitable ejector and the device do not support POE-in.

If anyone has experience, please share.

Thank you.

I’ve just conducted a simple experiment for you (see the picture).

So it appears to work when being powered by another RBGPOE.
It does not seem to work, however, when being powered by a smart PoE-out capable device (I tried it with hAP ac).

Thank you very much for that.
