Possible yes, but you will loose the connection ins Rain and snow
Okay, I’m a WISP and I use 5Ghz… I wanted to go on 60Ghz to avoid 5Ghz pollution but I need a stable link !
I do not really find info on the real stability of the link in case of rain / snow …
Depends on the rain region you are
Ok I am in Europe> France.
I can not decide if I should use 60Ghz for this point
try to use channel 5 (freq 66.96) as this is the closest to the e-band supported by RouterOS - if you are allowed to use it. most countries in eu only allow the lower 4 channels.
here the attenuation of O2 will be less noticeable in this frequency range and you can get longer links up.
and get a solidmount for both sides - this helps with the proper fine adjustments.
.
rain fading still can ruin the game, but if you keep your 5GHz p2p link in addition, you will have a backup solution in place.
