omg what a good idea!!!

Great device!!! Kudos to Mikrotik for that!!!
Nice idea, but why only 3 (1800 MHz) and 7 (2600 MHz) LTE FDD bands ?
You plan more models?
800 and 900Mhz?
If it strengthens our competitors (that use LTE) it’s not that great news at all ![]()
current product only supports the Band 3 and 7.
We are constantly working on new products.
You want Band 8 (900mhz) and Band 20 (800mhz) support in future?
in my country LTE currently operates on band 4 and 7, the worst data service provider (CLARO) operates on band 7 and Tigo (Une-EPM) but the later dont have full nationwide coverage on band 7
please add support to band 4
+1 for band 20 (800mhz) support and plan for 900 mhz.
this product is ideal for a various scenario link ipcam, weather station, industrial control… alarm etcc…
It’s the best idea I’ve seen in recent products from many network vendors.
I personally like to see band 1 at least. It’ll be nice to also see 20 & 38.
@uldis: I’m guessing everything is about licensing? For comparison iPhone 6s supports following bands:
1 (2100 MHz)
2 (1900 MHz)
3 (1800 MHz)
4 (AWS)
5 (850 MHz)
7 (2600 MHz)
8 (900 MHz)
12 (700 MHz)
13 (700c MHz)
17 (700b MHz)
18 (800 MHz)
19 (800 MHz)
20 (800 DD)
25 (1900 MHz)
26 (800 MHz)
27 (800 MHz)
28 (700 APT MHz)
29 (700 de MHz)
30 (2300 MHz)
38 (TD 2600)
39 (TD 1900)
40 (TD 2300)
41 (TD 2500)
…but hey, they have A LOT of money for licenses ;<
Why only FDD and not TDD ?
+1 for 800MHz version. 2G and 3G compatibility would be nice. Ideal for backup and remote areas.
Ukraine dont have network 4G LTE.
Now we have expansion of 3G network.
Old networks 2G work at 900/1800 MHz.
New 3G networks work at 1900/2100 MHz.
Would be nice to add support 3G in SXT for Ukraine.
We already have many 3G solutions. Choose the other product in stead
Even regular SXT supports USB + 3G modem
Normis, thanks for fast answer!
USB? you joke? )
SXT with 3G support would be great solution for many peoples in UA. Trust me)
Some people use old ADSL for access to internet. Especially in private sector, because dont have alternative solution. Classic USB-modem can’t give good speed Downlink/Uplink. Additionally, most often, you need to “hand made” or “modding”.
Besides USB-modem, you need router with USB-port. SXT 3G can be solution “all in one”, simple plug and play.
Simply think over it.
We also have miniPCI-e products that support 3G modems, see RouterBOARD.com ![]()
NetMetal, BaseBox etc.

This solutions is noncompetitive for home use.
STX with support 2G/3G/4G can give you new big market area.
Without money spending, you can create vote.
3G market in UA develops in a geometrical progression. And is still clean, with no solution for home use.
We are working on other products that you will like. This one is for a specific market and is not advertised as a solution for everyone.
In Estonia 3 and 7 are used for dense population areas. Recently Tele2 also added band 1 (2100).
In rural areas (even just outside Tallinn!) band 20(800) is most popular. For example 10-15km from Tallinn centre Tele2 and Elisa often only have band 20 in use.
So I cannot use SXT LTE here. Very little use in cities due to strong LTE signal. No use outside cities because band mismatch.
I am glad to hear about your good results.
Did you guys see the live video that is powered by the SXT LTE? It is powered by solar, and comes from the middle of a forest: http://dabasdati.lv/en/kameras2015 (white tailed eagle camera)
