RBwAP2nD-BE - Reset

Hi,

I had recently purchased RBwAP2nD-BE and I would like to know how to reset it.

Initially I had set it up as an Access Point. The layout is as follows: a Mikrotik router serves DHCP serving IP 192.168.1.x range and RBwAP2nD-BE is another DHCP server serving 192.168.88.x (if I disable the DHCP server, devices couldn’t connect to it and access the internet).

Then I configured RBwAP2nD-BE as a CAP following instruction from this youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFmGAnb3mrQ) and the Mikrotik router act as CAPsMAN.

The setup is somewhat successful because:

  1. the CAPsMAN can see the CAP (RBwAP2nD-BE),
  2. devices can connect to the CAP and access the internet,
    but
  3. from the winbox I cannot connect to the CAP either by IP or MAC address.

Then I tried resetting it following the this youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZTQwldPGOk) the lights flashes but still winbox cannot see RBwAP2nD-BE by MAC address.

What do I do wrong? Please advise.

I added a DHCP client to all CAPs’s (or whatever plural it is) and am able to connect to them with Winbox. Are you sure hey aren’t shown in the neighborhood tab? What MAC address are you using?
