I have 3 waps. I’ve been trying to get a pair working together in a ap bridge, station bridge config for a wifi bridge on 5ghz.
I’ve been having problems with the bootlooping after changing WLAN2 settings. I boot them up with default settings, change the settings on wlan2, connect wifi, get everything working and as soon as I powercycle them they BOTH start boot looping. One of the waps is unrecoverable with netinstall after the fact but I have been able to recover the other two reliably.
It happens on both the AP bridge and station bridge simultaneously and it didn’t seem to matter if I had 6.47.9, 6.48.1 or the firmware they were shipped with(which I don’t remember what version it was)
I have country set to united states3 to skip the radar detection.
I appreciate any help!
Edit: it seems to have happened when I set the wireless protocol of wlan2 to NV2 NSTREME 802.11 on both routers. Don’t know if it’s the cause
Edit2: seems to happen also if I set wireless protocol to nv2
