rc9 bonding wireless interfaces RB333

Ok guys -
I know that this is still beta so I am not using this in a production system - just a backup but..I’d really like to see bonding two (or more) wireless interfaces together work correctly.

I have two wireless interfaces bonded via EoIP. OS 3.09rc, two RB333s, XR5 cards. This work great - bandwidth passing is great - the only issue is - if one of the interfaces drops then there is NO data passed through the bonded interface at all.

Now I have this same thing running on 2.9.4x with RB500s and it works correctly - if an interface looses connection then everything goes over the remaining lines (wireless interfaces)until the interface comes back and then everything goes over all interfaces as expected.

I am using the balance rr mode in both types of RBs. Default settings for checking the bonded interfaces - arp, etc…

Anyone have this working correctly? Anyone else tried this with the RB333 and 3.09rc?

Arp monitoring doesn’t work in rc9. Try rc10.

Well does arp monitoring work in rc10 - or are you just suggesting I try and see if it works?

What about mii 1 and mii 2?

I tried and it worked for me in RC10.

Thanks for the info. Your reply was rather oblique so I had to ask…

We had same problem, and MT informed us today there is a problem with bridging over bonding.
Routing is fine though.
They state that they will look into correcting that.

So far ROS 3.10rc seems to be doing ARP monitor of a bonded pair of circuits… Haven’t tried switching it up several times but the initial 2 -1 - 2 seemed to work ok… Will do more tests in the future.
