Hi All
i wonder if you can help we run a small company in north-east england supplying a rb951 mikrotik for data capture , i joined the company six months ago.
Now what i am trying to work out is, we can remotely log into boxes from head office no problem but sometimes the cAP shows MI which means is inactive
therefore is there any way of reconnecting the cAP back to the mikrotik rb951 without visiting the site?

also the cap seems to reset itself back do default ssid of mikrotik****, its at various venues not at all.
any help anyone?

That sounds to me like someone got a hold of it and reset it manually, which is possible for anyone with physical access and the ability to Google.
Can you use mac-telnet to get into it by chance?
I don’t know what “MI” is or where you are seeing it.
hi MI means (master inactive), i can see that by logging into the main router that shows as smb= (slave master bound)
