Re:how to run 2 antennas on one Hotspot? What is nstreamdual?

Hello,
I am using 2 sektor antenna with two wireless cards, on one RB433.
How do i make this two wireless antenas to work on the same hotspot?

I have done this over the bridge, by bridgin this two antenas into one bridge.

My question is what is nstream-dual? Could i also use nstream-dual for this or for what is it used?

Also do i need to give this two wlan Antenas different ssid names( like hotspot_a and hotspot_b), or can i run them under the same ssid ex. “hotspot”.?

Do i need to setup different frequency for each sektor antenna: ex. 2462 Mhz and 2432 Mhz, or can i have them running on same frequency, because each of the antenna is looking in different direction, so will they interfere if i put them on same frequency?

Thank you for answers

Nstreme dual is for point to point link where both ends are mikrotik devices.

Why do you need two antennas for your hotspot?

Because I am using sector antennas. So one antenna covers one part of the area(to the left), and the other sector antenna the other part(to the right).

Please answer my other questions as well.

Thanks

OK, it´s easy:

Add two MiniPCI’s to the router.
Add a bridge
Add the two wlan interfaces to the bridge
Add the hotspot gateway address to the bridge
Run the hotspot setup wizard

You’r done !

Happy hotspotting…

ok. Do i need to specify different ssid names for the two wlans?
Do i need to give different frequency’s for them as well, or can i use the same frequency on both?
