Re: Query on mikrotik DSCP/TOS confioguration

We have planned to integrate Mikrotik with AAA server and dropband cache server to Inject the specific message to Particular end customers based on DSCP(TOS) value.

Here attached document for the Wire Inject (Content Injection).
Please go through it and let us know once you will manage to mark the end customers UP traffic(Towards Internet) with Particular DSCP value

Please find the attached Wire Inject (Content Injection) Flow diagram and brief about DSCP(TOS) marking based on different example Criteria.

1.) DSCP Value will be different based on each criteria and criteria will cover individual subscribers.

2.) Dvois team will confirm the different criteria which DSCP(TOS) value will be marked for which criteria.

3.) When Customer request for HTTP URL and it’s UP traffic (Towards Internet) request is already identified by the Predefined DSCP value & it matches an entry in the local Wire Inject database. Wire Engine will transparently inject the Particular predefined message for Particular DSCP on a suitable HTTP webpage.

4.) Inject the specific message to Particular end customers based on DSCP(TOS) value can be achieve by between the RADIUS server & NAS/BRAS communication.

5.) After authentication/authorization of the subscriber, NAS/BRAS should mark the Particular end customers UP traffic (Towards Internet) with Particular DSCP(TOS) value & according the DSCP(TOS) matching, engine will inject the message into a suitable Subscriber HTTP web session.

There is few devices in my wireless network they are logged with with 7 days coupon, but every day 2 to 3 times they are getting login page. I observed that these user DHCP is changing frequently.
If IP is changed they are redirecting to login page. Please suggest.
Below is configuration mikrotik.
DHCP lease - 2 days
Session time out - none.
Idel time out - 1 day.
Keep alive time - 1 day.
MAC cookies - 30 days.

Below is nothing, but first of all, are you sure those clients do not use dynamically changing MAC addresses as recently added to most mobile devices’ operating system?
