Hello guys. Many times i mount Mikrotik devices into boxes - small, medium, large, plastic and metal cases.
Every time i have dilemma - HOW do reliable and high-quality clamping for hAP/hAP lite/hAP ac lite/hEX lite/hEX/hEX PoE/hEX S and other devices. Using 2 holes on bottom not give qualiti fixation. Using 2 zip’s ties are not estetic and reliable.
So i have question… WHY you dont do universal mount system for this devices? Do you like existing “mount system”, really?
Look at PowerBox… DIN-mount included. Why don’t do same as PB DIN-mount? Just several holes on bottom side by standart schema… and sold separatelly mount bracket for DIN-rail. It be very cool solution, trust me.
DIN-rail is low-cost and can by mounted on any place. Additional DIN-rail sold in any store and is universal for power/communication boxes.
Some time we use power adapters with DIN-mount, like DRC-24V30W1AZ (Delta Electronics), Mean Well etc. You can produce own PSU with DIN-mount. Why not?
