hey i just wanna ask if i have a desktop that takes internet from a mikrotik server and i wish to give my desktop a real ip so i can access from the outside internet what should i do ??
You can’t connect to Internet until you have a Public IP. e.g you have a private IP like 192.168.1.x in your LAN. when try to access the web through the router (Mikrotik) the router will NAT you which means replace your private IP (192.168.1.x) with it’s own public IP and then you connect to Internet.
Now if your router have a range of public IP, you can assign or route them to specific Clients.
