Rebooting problem with RB532 APs

Thanks for this forum. I see a lot of helpful people here, and I will appreciate any help I can get. I have two RB532 APs that are working great, except they reboot (both at the same time, assuming the CPE up times on the reg list are an indication of that) on their own. The longest up times I have seen is 1 hour 6 minutes. They both lose their log records as well. I’m running all my tower gear on a UPS, so I don’t think it is a power issue, but cannot be 100% sure without some kind of monitoring/recording device, which I don’t know where to get at this time. Anyone out there had a similar problem? The fact that they both do it simultaneously makes power very suspect. Is MT gear especially sensitive to power glitches? I never saw this with my old SmartBridges APs, which I’m phasing out (hopefully…). I’m new to MT, so it’s all pretty challenging to me. Thanks.

I don’t know how I managed to get two posts the same. Sorry. Perhaps the admin can delete this one. Thanks.

Did you check to see if there is a watchdog timer setup? System / watchdog

Nevermind, saw your other post.

I’ve a number of 532As in similar situations and had no problems like this. The longest has been running for 148 days solid.

Are you using PoE to them or the power jack? I’m using 12v up to a couple via the power jack and did have a problem in the early days with (I think) the plugs not being solid in the socket. The boards were mounted vertically with the sockets open downwards so that gravity was trying to pull the plugs out of them, and maybe wind-gusts buffeting the enclosure or support was jiggling the plug in the socket enough to break the positive center-pin contact?

I don’t know if it was the problem, but taping the plugs in place (along with a couple of other power-connection tweaks) seemed to solve it.
