What 3G module would you recommend from your experience to use in RB411UAHR/U? I have tried Sierra Wireless MC8790, MC8792V and Novatel 850D. All of the above cards freeze after some random time and a router reboot is needed. In logs you can see that router no longer sees USB port.
Also if there a better board that someone would recommend? I need a serial port (not for modem), mini-pcie or active powered USB port (for modem). All of the new boards lack serial ports (?!). I don’t see the industry standards removing RS232 from ther specs. How are we supposed to push a serial port over internet if there is no serial port on the routerboard?
