I’ve been using RB751G as default gateway since few days - there is a DHCP client set up on port ether1, which is connected with a cable modem. The network is 192.168.1.0.
I noticed in syslog error message which I don’t understand. Does this error message mean that the internet provider had an outage between 11:15:55 to 11:44:02?
A NAK is a negative acknowledgment from DHCP. This can be done when an address renewal is refused by the DHCP server, or a duplicate IP address exists when requesting an offered IP address, among other reasons. Maybe another host got your ip?
