Hello, i need recomendation for Mikrotik outdoor acess point 2,4 GHZ for 5 floor building with width of 60 meters. Mikrotik hardware would be installed 20 meters from building. Which hardware would you recomend?
Will you cover the whole building with 1 accesspoint?
- use a 90 degree sector antenna with high vertical beamwidth and any routerboard
- use a omni antenna with high vertical beamwidth and any routerboard
- alternatively use TL-WA7210N as it has 30 degree vertical beamwidth
In each scenario the outcome will be very weak. Laptops and tablets will eventually connect at 6.5Mbps to 11.0Mbps.

If it’s possible i will try with one acess point or one acess point and one repeater.
I try with TL-WA7210N but i have signal only to the 3rd floor.
Can i resolve this with two RouterBOARD 2.4Ghz SXTG-2HnD (RouterOS L4), one as acess point one as repeater?
Repeater mode = halve speed.
Set two or three accesspoints on a high pilon
But connect this with network cable.
