Hello,
I operate a PtP-Link with 2 Dynadish AP, mode 5GHz AC only, 80MHz bandwidth dual chain, Wireless protocol NV2, distance between both devices is about 2km.
The Bandwith test from AP1 to AP2 gives me an average value of 170-175Mbps over TCP and about 260Mbps over UDP. I have already tested several frequencies, but the values remain approximately the same.
What do you think of these values, is this the maximum or is even more possible?
Do you have tips for further optimizations?
Thanks for your help!
The Bandwith test from AP1 to AP2
There is Your problem - run traffic through the created link. Generating traffic takes a lot of resources.
I have tried with speedtest.net on side B, with 1Gbps cabled Client, max. values was around 130Mbps.
On side A, directy attached with 1Gbps on fiber Router, i have the maximum of line, around 155-160Mbps.
Try running A/N mode and check
I have switched from NV2 to 802.11ac.
For this PtP-link over 2km this protocol gives me a little bit more speed and stability, every speedtest.net now is saturating
the maximum speed of fiber line with 160mbit/s.
