I need recommendations about a reliable Wi-Fi router, having issues with last batch which was a mix of TP-link and Winstars ?
You do realize that this is a MikroTik forum, right? ![]()
I can recommend RB2011UAS-2HnD, it is really a good quality device with very nice performance.
+1

Ok the problem as most often is financial?
How do you compete with DSL operators who simply post out a free Wi-Fi router?
Whereas we have to install a CPE (I will quickly add is always Mikrotik) and then a Wi-Fi router for the household and this has become the standard installation.
Most customers will not pay the extra cost of a expensive router like RB2011UAS-2HnD which costs about €85?
RB951-2n costs €30 but with built antennas – range is going to be issue with this router?
RB751U-2HnD costs €35 but once again built in antennas – same issue with range but extra cost to purchase mmcx antennas
I would say a lot of customers will not require most of the routing capabilities of ROS and a simpler Wi-Fi router will satisfy their requirements?
Hence the question on Mikrotik Forum
routers you mentioned have a decent range for household or apartment. Why not just try them out.
