I’m looking for a device I could lend/rent/sell to game console or smart TV owners allowing them to access to a WPA2 Enterprise network :
WPA2 Enterprise network <—2.4/5 GHz ----> Device <— Ethernet —> Game console/Smart TV/Whatever
My requirements are:
- dual 2.4/5 Ghz radio uplink
- local powering
- one or more Ethernet downlink(s)
- compliant with game consoles (Xbox, PS, …)
- acceptable performance
- easy to remotely manage.
By remotely manage, I mean:
- locking device buttons and ports (USB, Ethernet, …) to keep users from changing configuration
- having one or two customized reset process
- shipping configured devices, each locked on a fixed login/password.
What would you recommend ?
To me, hAP ac lite seems to fit.
