redirect an ip on a different subnet but on the same network

Hi All… I have been thinking on this one for weeks now… tried a few ideas but no luck so far..

I’m using a RB750G router…
Int1 is connected to an external ISP
Int2 is then NAT in 192.x connected to my main network… which also has public ip’s on it say 208.1.1.0/24 from another backhaul feed..
So within the same network I now have both the 192.x & the 208.x

What I am trying to do is have any that use the 192.x ip’s get mail direct from a 208.x mail server to keep all mail traffic on net and not have to go through Int1 then 8 hops and in on the external gateway of the 208.x

Ant suggestions or tips would be great… Thanks

Paul

Use the 751 as a caching DNS server for requests from the 192.x.x.x range and put a static DNS entry for your mail server

You da man… It worked like a charm..

Thanks

Paul
