Redundant PPPoE?

I have two PPPoE connections through the same LAN interface, and would like that only one (preffered) be active at a time. If the PPPoE link fails 3 times in a row, it should be disabled and the “backup” one should be enabled.

Scheduler would be used for running the script every 5 minutes to check if the primary link is running.

And every eg. 30 minutes should be ran another script which would revert the changes to use primary link again if it is working.

Try the new interface gateway feature in v3 you only have assign an interface as a gateway in for PPP dial

we have 2.9.46 rb133’s… and i would like not to change to v3 until it is finished…
